World Science Festival Brisbane is looking for you in 2017

From big bangs to big ideas the first World Science Festival Brisbane was a resounding success and, with the 2017 event just around the corner, the search is on for participants to bring their passion for science from the labs to the streets once again.
Science participants who would like to be part of the 2017 World Science Festival Brisbane have until 2 September, 2016 to register their interest to be part of this exciting event.
Queensland Museum Network CEO and Director Professor Suzanne Miller said the team was preparing to secure some of the most inspiring scientists from across the globe for next year’s event, which was shaping up to be another awe-inspiring festival.
“With amazing new advancements and discoveries occurring around the clock we are always looking to connect with innovators from across the scientific spectrum to share their talents, ideas, technologies, challenges and innovations at the World Science Festival Brisbane,” she said.
“The festival presents a unique opportunity to showcase the great scientific endeavours happening not only right here in Queensland and across Australia, but around the world.”
Attracting more than 120,000 visitors who were drawn to a mix of science inspired performances, debates and demonstrations, the World Science Festival Brisbane has a broad appeal from children and families to science professionals.
From hands on fun at street science to debating the latest advancements and discoveries defining our world today, the festival is focused on inspiring audiences to engage with science, technology, research, the arts and current global issues.
The World Science Festival Brisbane will take centre stage for five days from 22-26 March 2017 and scientists, researchers, science communicators, academics, inventors, entrepreneurs, panellists, street science participants and artists are invited to register an expression of interest now at www.worldsciencefestival.com.au
