Junior Correspondent Experiences
The 2015 Queensland Museum Natural Leaders Winner and Runners Up each received a fantastic swag of prizes including a GoPro Hero4 Session action camera and a selection of the latest Queensland Museum publications.
2015 winner Aryan is looking forward to reporting on a year of exciting experiences and opportunities throughout 2016 as our junior correspondent including:
- A two-day customised behind the scenes tour and hands-on workshop experience at the Queensland Museum (with Runners Up Charlotte and Patrick)
- A day in the field with BHP Billiton environmental scientists as they study the biodiversity of Queensland wetlands
- A day on location with Network Ten’s Totally Wild crew Attending the opening of a new Queensland Museum exhibition, Wild State

Christine Lambkin talks to Year 7 students at Mt St Michael’s College
Mt St Michael’s College in Brisbane had the greatest numbers of entries into the competition. The students all produced work of a high standard and to celebrate this Queensland Museum scientist Christine Lambkin and photographer Gary Cranitch visited the school to talk about studying and filming biodiversity.
