Queensland Museum South Bank would simply not function without the support of our valuable Volunteers.

Volunteering at Queensland Museum South Bank provides a means through which people can participate actively in furthering the aims and objectives of the Queensland Museum to engage in stimulating learning opportunities which enriches themselves and their community.

The Volunteer program is an exceptionally important part of the activities and services provided to the community by Queensland Museum South Bank.

Work Experience and Vocational Placements

Work experience and vocational placements at the Queensland Museum aim to provide students with an opportunity to relate their studies to the workplace, prepare them for the demands and expectations of the working world, and help them to make informed career decisions by assessing their aptitudes and interests.
