Don’t miss Australia’s favourite science guru with two awesome ticketed events!

Extreme Moments of Science with Dr Karl (ages 13+)

Saturday 31 July, 2021, 7:00pm – 8:30pm
$12 per ticket
$40 for group of 4

The universe is a strange and wonderful place and in his Extreme Moments of science, Dr Karl has scaled the highest peaks and turned over the tiniest pebbles to reveal what’s underneath. Prepare to be amused and amazed as Australia’s favourite science guru takes you on an excursion around a scientific landscape from the sublime moments of deep thought to the arcane and bizarre. Recommended for ages 13 and over.

Dr Karl for Kids

Sunday 1 August 2021, 9am – 10am
$10 per ticket
$35 for group of 4

Join Dr Karl Kruszelnicki and find out why it’s safer for a cat to fall from a 32-storey building than a 7-storey building, get the low-down on the Bermuda Triangle, and how come wombats poo out about 90 little cubes (yes, cubes) each day – and how Pterodactyls were not four-legged flying dinosaurs. You’ll also get the chance to ask all your burning science questions. This event is recommended for children 7 to 13 years.

Unearthed is a community event supported by Project DIG, a partnership between Queensland Museum Network and BHP to transform how we store, explore and share our collection and research with communities worldwide.
