Discovery Centre

Discovery CentreIt’s an interactive space where you can meet museum experts, discover more about what you find in the Museum or ask questions about your own discoveries in the outside world.

Showcasing more than 1300 objects, digital displays and more, get engaged, ask questions, discover, play and have fun in this exciting space.

Our specialist staff are on hand to answer questions and identify objects – from archaeology to palaeontology, cultural history to earth sciences and of course, questions about insects, reptiles, arachnids and mammals.

See live snakes, stick insects and giant cockroaches – along with the Meet the Curator sessions.

Try our Find out About section, view a Fact Sheet or Ask an Expert.
