Areas of Geosciences research

Queensland Museum is recognised internationally in several areas of research related to invertebrate, vertebrate and plant fossils.

Much of the research undertaken nowadays is collaborative, in partnership with academia, industry, communities and other clients and user groups. These partnerships create research opportunities and external funding, generating a more complete knowledge of Queensland's geodiversity.
