School & group booking form

A booking for the Museum, SparkLab and optional School Programs are all made on the one booking form. Please submit one booking form per visit.

There are charges for some exhibitions and programs. See planning your visit for details.

Your booking is not confirmed until you receive your written Group Visit Confirmation. It may take up to five working days to respond to your request during peak booking periods. Should you not receive a response within this time please contact the Bookings Officer +61 (0) 7 3153 4401.

Terms and Conditions
  1. Confirmation: Your booking is not confirmed until you receive your written Group Visit Confirmation. If you do not receive your confirmation within 5 working days, please contact our Group Booking Officer. Once confirmed, your group will receive an entry ticket and itinerary for your visit.
  2. If you have questions about your booking or if the confirmation document does not reflect your submitted booking, please email or phone (07) 3840 7608.
  3. Prices: Please be aware that all prices are subject to change. A general museum visit is free of charge with some charges for special exhibitions. SparkLab is a charged exhibition and is GST free. Optional school programs led by museum staff are charged and include GST.
  4. Group discount to SparkLab applies with 10 or more paying people
  5. A minimum payment for 20 students is required for optional school programs.
  6. Payment: For an invoice, on arrival sign the Confirmation Entry Ticket and an invoice will be posted out. For a cheque, make cheques payable to Queensland Museum. Major credit cards or cash are also accepted for SparkLab and other charged exhibitions.
  7. Notice of Cancellation: We require at least seven (7) days notice prior to the visit when cancelling. Cancellations received less that seven (7) days prior to the visit may result in a charge if a staff member has been booked to deliver a program. Cancellations may be sent via phone, fax or email.
  8. If your group numbers increase or decrease by more than 5, please inform the Group Bookings Officer as soon as possible, as this may affect your itinerary.
  9. Queensland Museum does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking.
